Enabling Volt at your PSP
By the end of this guide, you will be able to:
- Set up your access to Fuzebox
- Generate your credentials for the Volt API
- Configure necessary notifications
- Prepare for the integration of Volt products via your partner
As your partner will have already completed the technical integration with Volt, you should only need to enable Volt products via your partner. This will require a few initial setup steps in Volt’s and the partner environments.
Depending on the depth of integration between your partner and Volt some of the steps might not apply to you. Please reach out to your partner and the Volt team at support@volt.io to receive detailed guides.

Fuzebox Access
Our team will create your merchant profile in Fuzebox and you will receive an invitation via email. This link will be active for 48 hours and will enable you to set up your password and activate your account. Once done, you are ready to move forward.
Generate Your Access Credentials
After logging into Fuzebox, you will need to generate two sets of credentials for your integration.
Customer Credentials
The customer username and password identify your organisation, allowing you to access your data, request payments, process refunds and payouts, and access reports.

Application Credentials
These credentials identify how you are accessing the Volt API—whether through a website, app, or the Fuzebox interface. You’ll need to generate a Client ID and Client Secret to authenticate your application and access the API.

Please note that you might be able to reuse the application already configured by your provider. Please contact them for directions.
Signature Keys
If you plan to use Refunds and Payouts from a Volt-issued account the requests will need to be properly signed to be processed. For this, an additional key pair needs to be generated by the owner of the account. Reach out to your partner or Volt team to discuss the details.

Alternatively, users with correct permissions will always have an option to manually approve the requests in Fuzebox.
Receive Notifications
Volt will send a notification for every change in status. If you are using an application configured by your partner, they will automatically receive your Payment and Refund notifications. Please note that Payouts, Reports and Credits Received notifications need to be set up separately. If you wish for your partner to process the notifications for you, please contact them to get the correct URL that you will use for the configuration in Fuzebox.
