Balances

The balance represents the total available funds held within a specific Volt Account or Named Account. Since balances are tracked per account, you retrieve the balance for each account individually.

Volt uses a single, unified balance type: the available balance. This represents the total amount of funds that is immediately ready for use in all active operations, including initiating payouts, processing refunds, and executing internal transfers. Volt does not employ a separate "Pending Balance" type; all funds reported are considered cleared funds.

Since Volt Accounts and Named Accounts can hold balances in multiple currencies, the balance is always retrieved and reported on a per-currency basis for the requested Account.

Balance retrieval

You can retrieve the balance for any account at any time via two methods:

  • API: Use endpoint to get the current funds available for a specific Account

  • Fuzebox: When logged in to Fuzebox, navigate to the Account section in the left-hand side panel. Your balance will be displayed next to your account information.
